Therese Schachner is currently an undergraduate student at Northwestern University studying Computer Science. She is interested in technology and medicine, including software development, medical devices, and health technology. In the summer of 2020, she interned at Medtronic, working on software development for frameworks that allow for the testing of electrical stimulation patterns used in neuromodulation. During the academic year, Therese worked at City Health Tech, where she has conducted data analysis for a handwashing tracking device and worked on code optimization. She is also the Vice President of the Technical Team of Northwestern's Engineers without Borders chapter, in which she leads technical projects, including the well construction project in rural Ecuador. In her free time, she enjoys running and volunteering.
Within the RSC Lab, Therese is focusing on Sensorimotor Control in Adults.
